Mendini describes his mission as one “to communicate through my objects and work in general, trying to say things that encourage people to deepen meditation and spirituality.” In the Anna G. Corkscrew, Mendini has definitely defined a new design for this common item. With all the functionality of a traditional corkscrew, Mendini has utilized all of its components to resemble the shape of a girl - Anna G. to be specific. It has been noted that this design supposedly was made to resemble Mendini's girlfriend at the time, how anthropomorphic! This piece is made from durable polyamide and chrome-plated zamak and comes in five color options for your home bar.
