We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. I bought 4 of these stools, they all arrived in a timely manner with all the parts required and no flaws. The hydraulic lift part did not work until some one heavy enough sat on it (meaning an adult), and it does take adult weight to lower the stools as well. They are very stable on my wood floor and are comfortable as well.

I bought these two stools as an interim solution while I await the arrival of some high-end designer stools I ordered for my new kitchen. These two will eventually go to the basement bar. They're much better than I expected for the price. The base is not so heavy that it's hard to move, but heavy enough that the stools don't tip. Although the seats are not real leather, they're just fine. The compressed air mechanism works well to allow the seats to be adjusted in height. Since I've only had them a couple of weeks, I can't tell you how well they'll hold up - but so far, I think I got a gonga.

I put them together two days ago and it was very simple to do. They seem very sturdy and I like the adjustable height. They look very contemporary. My only complaint would be a small blemish in the leather seat. It is small enough I won't try to get it replaced because it usually is a hassle.

Overall these bar stools are pretty good. Great price, easy to put together, great height.
However, to lower the bar stools, I literally have to get off the stool, push the lever down, and then put the weight of my body in order push the stool's seat down. Although I'm short and kind of petit, I'm pretty strong, but they're difficult to lower. Also the base is pretty shiny - a little too shiny in my opinion. The seats (as stated) aren't real leather and look a little cheap.
